Every time I open Netscape Navigator, I get an error message saying “Java Initialization Failed.” What does this mean?
This error message usually means that the Java file in your Netscape folder (in the Preferences folder) is missing. The only way to fix this is to delete, and then reinstall Netscape. If the Java file isn’t missing and you get theis error message, you should download the Java Initialization Patch. It is available from Netscape’s Web page. If the problem persists, download a fresh, more secure copy of Netscape Navigator 3.04, which also includes some security fixes for Netscape.
