“Unfortunately the District Council is unable to control who buys up land, but that does not guarantee that if developers put in a planning application it would automatically be successful. Each application would be dealt with on its own merit, taking into account the current planning policy, the impact on the local environment, the loss of open space, the impact on highway safety and the impact on residential amenities.
