Your time zone settings in iCal and Google probably don’t match. Time zones are set in a number of different places between Google and iCal. Here are the different places you need to check to make sure everything is in agreement. • Mac System Preferences > Date & Time > Time Zone • iCal > Preferences > Advanced > check “Turn on time zone support” • In iCal, make sure the time zone in the top right corner of the window is correct • Google Calendar > Settings > General > Your current time zone (you may need to check “show all timezones” to see your timezone) • Google Calendar > Settings > Calendars > Calendar Details > Calendar Time Zone (you may need to check “show all timezones” to see your timezone) After all that, new events you create should sync properly. Existing events will need to be edited for them to get their time zones updated. The easiest way to do that is to unsubscribe/resubscribe or unpbulish/republish any calendars you are syncing with Google.
