Even though my software runs as a standalone application, I receive an invalid system ID error message or the plugin launches in demo mode if I use a host (Cubase, Kore etc). What can I do?
If you are a Mac user, please make sure the Intel Mac version of your Native Instruments products as well as your sequencer is installed (Universal Binary Installer). If your problem isn’t solved or if you already had Intel versions, please read on: Scan your plug-ins in the AU Manager (Apple Logic, Motu Digital Performer) or under Audio in the Preferences of Ableton Live. With older sequencer versions the following is also helpful: Relocate your AU components, and/or your VST plug-ins to the desktop. You should find these files here: MacHD>Library>Audio>plug-ins>Components Restart your sequencer and you should see your plug-ins.
