Yes. TICA (The International Cat Association) and IPCBA (International Progressive Cat Breeders Alliance) both recognize Bengals as a domestic breed. In addition, there are at least five other organizations that officially recognize Bengal’s as a domestic animal. TICA is the 2nd largest domestic cat registry and according to the information I’ve been given Bengals are the most registered breed of cat for the last three years.
