With Windows 98 or Windows ME, if you install the Dial-up Turbocharger™ then later install McAfee Internet Security Suite or McAfee Personal Firewall, you might see the error messages “This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down” and “An unexpected error has occurred in ‘MPFTRAY.EXE'”. These errors mean the McAfee software is conflicting with the Dial-up Turbocharger™. To solve this problem: • Download the Dial-up Turbocharger™ again. • Uninstall the McAfee Internet Security Suite (or Personal Firewall). • Uninstall the Dial-up Turbocharger™. • Turn your computer off then turn it on again (reboot). • Install the McAfee Internet Security Suite (or Personal Firewall). • Install the Dial-up Turbocharger™ from the downloaded file. • Turn your computer off then turn it on again (reboot). The important thing is to install the McAfee software before installing the Dial-up Turbocharger™.
