Email is very important and customers are concerned about the possibility of losing emails if they use AnteSpam. How reliable is AnteSpam?
We believe email is valuable. That is why the AnteSpam team has put a lot of time into developing a fault tolerant and reliable system to receive, process, and deliver or sideline email. Instead of one server that can and will be down at times, we use numerous servers that run in parallel; so if one is down, the others carry the processing load so email does not stop. We store sidelined email on multiple servers also, although not in parallel. The sideline email servers use RAID arrays for disk storage. If a hard drive fails, the sidelined email is still safe. If one of the sideline email servers is down temporarily, the sideline email might be unavailable for a short period, but it will not be lost. If we ever have to permanently turn off a sideline email server we will first transfer all the sidelined mail to another server.
