Effective July 1, 2009, the following optional benefits and services will be excluded from coverage under the Medi-Cal Program. • Acupuncture services • Adult dental care services • Audiology services • Chiropractic services • Incontinence creams and washes • Optometric and optician services (including services provided by fabricating optical laboratories) • Podiatry services • Psychology services • Speech Therapy services Any exemptions from this policy are subject to specific conditions and guidelines.
