Idaho Code 54-207 (3) states that the Board may adopt rules allowing persons who met the education requirements of Section 54-208 when they first sat for the examination to become licensed even though they do not meet the education requirements of section 54-207 (150 semester hours). Rule 300.01a states in part that an applicant for licensure who was accepted for the May 2000 CPA Examination or prior examination does not have to fulfill additional educational requirements beyond those required as the time of acceptance to sit for the CPA examination.
