East Devon District is doing very well for recycling. Why change?

0

We currently recycle and compost just over 20% of the waste generated in the East Devon District. However, the current system does not have the capacity to achieve the additional increased targets in recycling rates which we need to make and which our residents demand. The changes we are making should reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill by around 30% and increase our recycling and composting rate to approaching 50%!
