Each local school board needs to do some type of board resolution as it relates to the adoption of instructional materials. What does this mean?
An annual public hearing and resolution on sufficiency is required by Education Code Section 60119. See following FAQ’s related to this requirement. The Statement of Assurance for instructional materials funds that was previously distributed to districts at the end of each fiscal year is not required for fiscal years 2008-09 through 2012-13.
