Each Head Start grantee should develop its own policies and procedures that reflect that grantee’s particular needs. However, grantees must assure any such policies and procedures conform to all relevant local, state and federal statutes such as, for example, compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirement 45 CFR 1301.
