• Make sure that you ticked at least one valid connection in Setup > Connections tab and it is the one connected to your modem or router. • If you have multiple network adapters in your system and you are using a system older than Windows XP, the DynSite numbering of the adapters may differ from the Windows numbering. In that case, to tick the right connection, check the MAC address of the adapters in the tooltips. • If you rely on automatic (web-based) IP detection, you must make sure that the required TCP ports are correctly opened in your firewall. Please see Q22. • If you use a HTML-enabled router for IP address detection, make sure that you provided valid authentication, if authentication is required.
