During the renovation of an existing building we wish to improve the level of insulation by using Eurothane G. In what ways can Eurothane G boards be fastened ?
For the fastening of Eurothane G two methods of working are possible: fastening on a wooden construction and fastening by means of adhesive plaster. The choice is mainly determined by the foundation. A mechanical fixation on a wooden construction is preferred when it concerns ceiling and partition wall facings. The adhesive method is also possible with the fastening on walls depending to the extent that the existing wall is compatible with the adhesive plaster and does not show too big unevenesses. In this latter case the wooden construction is the obvious way as wipe out. More details can be found under the section ‘Internal lining’.
