During the installation on a Windows machine, I was told that the printer driver was not digitally signed and/or had not passed Microsofts compatibility tests. Do I need to worry about this?

You do not need to worry about this. This should not occur on most systems, but could happen if the printer installation is attempting to make use of a file already present on your system. Use of the Pharos printers should not be affected.
