Gracenotes signature CDDB service is the industry standard for music recognition services. It contains the largest online database of music information in the world. The database provides information on music such as artist, album, genre, etc. You will be prompted to use and register the CDDB service. If you choose to use the CDDB service before you import a CD into m:trip, the software will connect to the CDDB service and load from the database the music information (album name, track title, artist, etc). If you do not select to use the CDDB service to activiate everytime you insert a CD, you can choose to manually look up tracks by selecting “Tools”, “Gracenote CDDB”, “lookup disc”. You cannot get track information from the CDDB after importing and saving tracks in WMA or MP3 format. There is no charge for this service.
