During the driver installation I get an error message that says “Unable to update driver, driver is currently being used by Windows.” How can I get around this error?
Windows uses the file(s) ctl3d.dll and/or ctl3dv2.dll. These files are located in the Windows\System directory. During driver installation, the BJC-4100 is trying to load this file(s) as well and therefore causes the error. The solution to this problem is to (1) Exit Windows (2) rename the file(s) ctl3d.dll to ctl3d.old and ctl3dv2.dll to ctl3dv2.old. Restart Windows. Then load driver.
