During installation of a product I get InstallShield error on my desktop PC. How can I install the product?
Most of the InstallShield errors are caused by older InstallShield files left on the computer from the installation of another product (most software vendors are using different versions of InstallShield software for installation). If such error occurs, the first thing you should do is clean-up the Windows TEMP folder and reboot the computer. If this does not help, we recommend searching InstallShield knowledge base at http://support.installshield.com/kb for a possible work around. Unfortunately, InstallShield errors are caused by bugs within the InstallShield software itself and are beyond our control.
