Due to NPI implementation, does a provider’s Personal Identification Number (PIN) change for the Point of Service (POS) system?

No. An individual provider has the same PIN. However, if multiple provider numbers were replaced by a single NPI, the PIN from the first provider number entered during the registration process will be transferred to that NPI and the same PIN can be used to access the POS system.
