Most of the diesel engines have a fuel return circuit. The diesel injection of the engine is supplied with more fuel than necessary. The amount of diesel that is not needed for the combustion process is lead back to the fuel tank. HUSS dosing unit reacts on that by reducing the amount of additive which is given to the fuel. In special cases the amount is reduced to zero.
