No – DT Analyst can be used as a stand-alone product and does not require InTouch. The Event Monitor, which is an optional plant floor component to involve operators in improving operational efficiency, is an ActiveX control. This means the Event Monitor can be used with an InTouch HMI or any other HMI that can act as a container. For lines that have no HMI, or have an HMI that cannot act as a container, then Microsoft Visual Basic can be used as the container.
