Double Flared plugs— would it be easier to taper them in?
It irritates me when people bring up, “well when you’re old how will your tattoo look? Or you gaged ears?” Ask yourself this question. Do you know anyone who is over the age 65 ad actually cares what they look like? If you want to gage your ears go for it. They go back to normal. (with 00) being the max. I went from a 14(weighted earrings) to a 10 then to a 6(which I’m currently at and I don’t recommend going as fast as I did). The way I did it was I put my 6g taper in as far as I could get it. Went to sleep, woke up took a warm shower, massaged my ears with Vitamin E balm and pushed it the rest in. After a few days when it stopped hurting I put in the plugs it came with in. Your best bet, depending on how large you go, is to get tapers that come with plugs or some alt. earring other than the huge taper. Tapers are way uncomfortable and slow down the healing while you sleep. When you roll around in your sleep that big ole’ taper irritates your ear causing “one ear soreness”. Not all 6g
