DOs and MDs?

0

DOs (Osteopathic) and MDs (Allopathic) are both fully licensed physicians who are authorized to prescribe medication and perform surgery. While attending their own medical schools, DOs are responsible for the same academic curriculum as their MD colleagues. DOs must also receive in excess of 500 hours in the study of the body’s musculoskeletal system in medical school. Dr. Kharbat attended a DO Medical School and an MD Family Practice Residency offering patients Osteopathic Manual Medicine in adjunct to Allopathic Family Medicine.
