Don wire cage beds hurt bunny feet?
Most rabbits do just fine on wire flooring. The mesh used is often tight enough to evenly distribute the rabbit’s weight without causing irratation. However, larger breeds and varieties with thinner coats can have problems with this set up. We keep a close eye on our rabbits and when necessary lay down special floor mats to make conditions more comfortable for them.
