Don Greyhounds Need A Lot of Room to Exercise?
No more than a dog of similar size. Many live happy, healthy lives with only a small fenced yard and/or occasional walks on a leash. Although a fenced yard is definitely preferred, in certain cases, dogs are available to homes with leash exercise only. Because of the lifestyle that greyhounds lead, they have no knowledge or fear of cars and other hazards. Couple this with the speed they possess and disaster can result if they are allowed to run loose.
