Dog Yeast Infections, Food Allergies, Flea Allergies, Grass Allergies, Dust Mites – Which is it?
Does your dog have allergies to food, fleas, grass, dust mites or is there a dog yeast infection going on? I’m going to give you a brief history how a dog yeast infection began with my Pitbull mix, now 9 years old. My dog, Sasha, started with excessive scratching, hot spots and inflamed red bumps all over her skin out of the blue. She wouldn’t stop scratching and her skin had become real thick, dark and smelly across her chest area within a week or two. Her ears began to stink so bad she could have raised the Titanic with the stench! She continued to scratch and the hot spots were not going away and her ears always seemed to be dirty, stinky and red. She did have a few ear infections when she was a puppy, but that was about it. We made a trip to the vet and they just said it was a reaction to something she came in contact with. Even though I told them she hasn’t been in contact with anything out of the ordinary. They gave me some ear flush, ear antibiotics and also suggested to change
