Doesn’t Word 2007 already support versioning ?
Yes and No. Versioning within the document was removed with Word 2007. Microsoft supports document versioning however though it’s enterprise tool SharePoint. This involves saving each version of your document to a server-based database. The versions are only available when you’re connected to the server. With Document.Versions, the versions travel with the document so they’re always available.
