Yes, several can be found in US Code. Sec. 3005. These laws regarding lotteries have been on the books for about fifty years, they were established to prevent people from starting their own lotteries and to protect people from those who do. Michigan Lucky Lotto! is not conducting a lottery — we are merely a messenger service that purchases lottery tickets on our customers behalf. We are also a club (Michigan Lucky Lotto Club) that plays the Michigan State Lottery. Another statute frequently referred to is Sec. 1302 – mailing lottery tickets or related matter. We do not mail any lottery tickets or Michigan lottery materials through the US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, or through any other means. All tickets purchased on behalf of our customers are held within the State of Michigan.
