Doesnt Russia invading Georgia sounds like US invading Iraq?
Before you ask questions learn more about the subjects in your questions. It is clear that you do not understand why the Russians are fighting with the Georgians. It doesn’t even remotely resemble why we are in Iraq. Incidentally, Russia isn’t invading Georgia. They are shelling and bombing the heck out of it but there is no invasion.
Georgia is a real democracy and is cooperative with us. Putin has a history of having illegitmate elections and being somewhat like a dictator. Russia has a history of bullying their neighbors and they want that power back they once had. Iraq was hostile to the UN and the US. They had brutal dictator who killed his people and had sham elections. Simple as that.
