Doesnt Russia invading Georgia sounds like US invading Iraq?

Russia is NOT invading Georgia. Georgia was directed by criminal and war criminal Bush administration to invade small republic of South Ossetia where Russian peacekeeping forces were stationed since 1992. Russia only helps South Ossetia to drive Georgian invaders away. Our government on purpose keeps spreading false and misleading propaganda in order to make Russia look bad. For your information Georgian puppet president Saakashvili is a former attorney from NY.

The difference was that the US was acting based on UN resolutions against a recognized paria government that were blocked from being enforced by Russia and France due to their fear of losing their oil profits there. In the case of Georgia, Russia is trying to reform their old empire. There are simularities but no, the US has no moral or legal reason to refrain from condeming international acts of piracy from fascist countries. The UN has verified that Russia is in the process of full-scale invasion of Georgia including para drops into a military air base next to the capital.

Is a different situation , and whether you are against the war or not you have to admit two things , first the Russian attack was unprovoked and second both Comunists ( and Russia still is ) and radical Islamist are sneaky , cowards , murderers that will take advantage of all the protection and oportunities any democracy give them to reach their goals , and once they do they don’t give any chance to the oposition .

Actually Russia has a much more valid reason… Georgia broke a cease-fire and atttacked first. No such thing happened in Iraq. That was a much more totally unjustified invasion. Yet it’s funny how Bush thinks that’s OK, but what the Russians are doing is terrible. I think oil makes for a slippery slope.

Georgia is not part of the U.N. they are a break off of Russia. So to those that are asking why the U.N. isn’t getting involved its because they have no responsibility to Georgia. No these are two completely different situations. Unless you define the situation as one country involving themselves military with another country, in which every military conflict in the world would be the same as this particular situation. It isn’t complicated, just different, and I am not going to explain the differences, you can do that on your own.
