Doesn Large Format mean huge files, its larger printing right?
Well, most people think that just because it’s large format the file has to be 300dpi at actual size. If you created a Photoshop file for a banner that was 48” x 96” at 300dpi, it would be a gigabyte! You can simply create your files at 1/3 scale (or 33% and work at 300dpi). If you have limitations on the size in the design program you’re using, you can scale it down to 10% and work at 1000dpi. It would be best to design in a vector (scalable) program though because your files are much smaller.
