Doesnt commercial fishing for striped bass put food on the table for poor people?
Give us a break! In the marketplace, wild striped bass are high priced, luxury fish. Poor people cannot afford to buy them. The poor would be better served by catching their own bass or buying aquaculture produced stripers that would appear year round in much greater volume and at lower prices, were it not for the seasonal glut of commercially harvested wild fish.
