Doesn a facility using the DPG System generate carbon dioxide? Does the CO2 contribute to the greenhouse effect?
Yes, it does generate carbon dioxide, but it is significantly lower than what is produced from landfills and other processes. The DPG?system produces far less CO2 than the traditional power plants on coal, diesel, and natural gas, which contributes substantially to the greenhouse effect. The DPG system does not contribute to the greenhouse effect because it does not use new hydrocarbons as a fuel source. Our process simply releases CO2 that was already part of the base of organic material.
