DoesGW Law have a purchase program for student notebook computers?
No. In past years the Law School worked with Dell to establish a purchase program containing certain notebook models configured to meet our exact specifications. Because our specifications for Fall 2008 have relaxed substantially, law students now have many more satisfactory options in the notebook computer market and will have an easier time finding the notebook computer that meets their needs. As such, we will not be offering a purchase program with Dell this year. (Please note that the GW Bookstore’s purchase program for Dell notebooks contains computers specifically configured for GW undergraduate students, who use different networks and systems than law students.
