No. ZYBEC Corporation qualifies as a clearinghouse so we process our own claims without clearing through another company. All claims are sent utilizing The Health Information Network (THIN). Another benefit of qualifying as a clearinghouse is our ability to display the exact status messages received from those carriers transmitting electronic messages. Carriers that issue an electronic status messages include, but are not limited to, United Healthcare, Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Electronic messages aid claim follow up by displaying such information as whether the claim has been received or whether it has been rejected. Also, some carriers transmit disbursement notification.
