Does Z-30 start working immediately in a new installation?
A. As with sand, the bed needs to settle, which can take 12 hours. From the off set Zeoclere 30 will be fully active as the water passes through the filter. In a situation where a customer is experiencing dull water, use the same procedures as you would with sand! In rare cases, air coming into the system through leaking joints or seals etc. can also be a factor creating carbonating which will give the water a dull appearance. If this occurs, check that the automatic air relief valve is working. Also check that air tube inside the filter is clear of debris and able to carry out its function.
