Yahoo does NOT offer IMAP. I suggest you use the Automatic Forwarding feature in Yahoo Mail Plus, to get your Yahoo messages into Gmail. Then make full use of the IMAP facility in Gmail to get it all into Thunderbird, if that’s what you want.
