Does Yahoo answers have a meet and greet?
Hiya Mary – You be crackin’ me up! You ask a great question! Quite honestly, no such official event exists. That’s not to say that askers and answer’s alike couldn’t arrange one! While it sounds like a great idea, I think there is an issue with it’s practicality. The reason I question that is because of the sheer size of the YA community. Yahoo itself is one of the busiest websites in the WORLD. That said, we are talking about millions of people. Getting large groups together is a complex, and often difficult task. In fact, just in my situation for instance, I don’t know that I’ve even answered a question for someone near me locally! All of us here; ask and answer questions for others around the world! That’s not to discourage you, but it would take an effort to organize an event. Locally, it would be a great idea. Perhaps you could write and ask yahoo to consider a “section” on the page for others to organize and communicate about such interests. Given that they have cut staff like ev
