Does Xpress DV have a built in Waveform/Vectorscope?
A. When in Color Correction mode a waveform/vectroscope is available, though it will not display real-time waveform playback. Many editors and motion graphics artists doing broadcast work rely heavily on their waveform monitor/vectorscope not just to keep their video looking great, but to meet broadcast legal levels and colors. If real-time monitoring is desired simply plug in your hardware Vectorscope/waveform monitor into the analog output of the DV device connected to your Xpress DV system.
