No, xeriscape is a plan where our landscapes can be enhanced by using plants that are native to our climate and are considered low-water use. Grass and annuls can be used judiciously to add contrast and interest to the landscape. Grass is also used around our homes for recreation and relaxation. In commercial projects grass is used to soften and make the landscape more inviting. There are many plants that are available for our area with lots of colors and textures. By using these plants and trees we can expand and enhance the natural landscape in our area. Remember, people come to the valley to see the beauty of the desert, not copies of landscapes from other parts of the country.
