Does Xcel Energy offer internships?
We post available internships at selected schools in their career centers and/or on the school’s career center Web site. We work directly with strategically selected colleges and universities to fill internships. We also visit college campuses in the spring and fall to recruit for internships and full-time positions. We participate in career fairs and on-campus interviews. To apply for an internship, check with the career center at your school. Follow the instructions on the posting on how to apply, or sign up for an on-campus interview. We also work with INROADS to fill our intern positions. Does Xcel Energy offer apprenticeships? We offer many apprenticeship programs, including (but not limited to) plant attendant, lineman, rigger and electrician. Occasionally these positions become available to candidates other than current Xcel Energy employees.
