Does WVMI review placements in out-of-state facilities?

0

WVMI will only review the placement of CSA children in facilities licensed under 2.1-745 et seq. of the Code of Virginia and subject to the “Core Standards for Interdepartmental Licensure and Certification of Residential Facilities for Children.” CPMT s are required to conduct their own utilization review for those children placed outside the Commonwealth of Virginia, or in facilities that are not CORE-licensed.
