Does World Of Warcraft cost anything per month after you buy them game?
There are reasons behind the monthly fee. For a game that is continuously being worked on, do you think that the content patches, expansions, tweaks, and updates come out of thin air? No, we are paying people’s salaries. They have to keep the customer service department open, the design team, the different teams for the US and Oceanic realms, there have to be hundreds of Game Masters online at any given point to deal with player issues in game…the list goes on and on. MMO’s are a living game. The game has to adapt to the players. There is tons of money needed behind the scenes. When comparing it to a game like Guild Wars, (which I have tried) World of Warcraft has tons more content, polish, and detail than Guild Wars. You are paying for a polished and updated game. Here’s another way to look at it: You could play the elder scrolls for 100 hours (which I read that this is the amount of time it takes to experience all of the game) and you would have only spent $30, plus $20 or whatever
