Does working in an aids clinic increase chances of contracting HIV?
If you follow the proper procedures at the center that you work for then you shouldn’t have that much to worry about. Chances are they may give you some guide lines about what to do around people that have aids. Also don’t be afraid to ask questions if you do decide to volunteer. If you’re not coming into direct blood or fluid contact with them then you don’t have any thing to worry about. It might be a good idea to help you get over your fears of contracting hiv, once you know a little more about hiv then you may not be so scared about contracting it.
