Does Wooster allow IMAP or POP accounts?
Yes. Members of the campus community can configure any e-mail client to check their Wooster account through POP or IMAP. If you are setting up a POP account, the incoming and outgoing mail servers are smtpgate.wooster.edu. POP accounts are generally configured to pull down messages from the email server to the client and delete the retrieved messages from the server. If you are setting up an IMAP account, the incoming and outgoing mail servers are smtpgate.wooster.edu. IMAP accounts are generally configured to sync the messages between a client and the email server. Both incoming and outgoing email servers require authentication.
