A. Yes. Part of the value of the Windows Essential Business Server 2008 Administration console is to help manage and track your CALs. In the console, you can see how many CALs you have installed, how many have been assigned, and to which users or devices they have been assigned. You can also track when you are out of compliance (that is, when you have started assigning CALs from the buffer pool).
