You do not need a minimum of 2GB to run windows 7, it requires 1GB. Check to see if that’s your problem. If it isn’t, the problem is probably drivers. Download the latest network card and video card drivers for your pc and this should help solve the issue. Sometimes the automatic drivers downloaded aren’t always the best. IE8 works pretty good on Windows 7, not sure if it’s slower at all, you can look if you want. But trying another browser never hurts, I prefer Mozilla Firefox. Download the latest Adobe updates as well…flash, adobe reader…and shockwave player just to be sure you have all internet plug-ins installed and enabled.
