Does Wilt Chamberlain deserve the title “Best Center of All Time”?
Still thats like saying Magic was the best PG cause of his size or MJ the best guard ever cause of his superior athleticism and large hands, Kareem the all time scorer just cause of playing about 20 years. Wilt mightve been the tallest and strongest of his era, but dont think the gap was that big, players like Bob Pettit and Shyaes were very large themselves, Wilt was just incredibly skilled with speed and dexterity. You cant blame a player for being the best in his era by saying the competition was lacking, he just made it seem that. My vote has always gone to Kareem for best center, all time in points, top 10 on blocks and rebound, a career of nearly 20 years, 6 MVP, and other accolades. And plenty of support for Russell as well.
