Does Williams Instrument Company, Inc. sell relief valves to go with their pumps?
A13: We do not make relief valves, however we can purchase them. Safety relief valves are a comfort item. It is not that our pumps don’t require them, however the pumps have “pressure limiting” built in. That is, they will only produce the maximum pressure in accordance with the air supply. Therefore, if a customer uses 100 PSI air supply, a CRP250 V225 pump could only produce 13,000 PSI discharge.
