Does Wii Rent require a rental equipment security deposit?
A. Wii Rent’s preferred payment method through Google Checkout allows Wii Rent to authorize an additional sum that will act as an equipment security deposit. This additional authorized amount will only be charged to the client’s credit card should rental equipment become lost or damaged during a rental to cover the cost of equipment repair or replacement. If payment is to be made via Paypal, a refundable equipment security deposit will be collected at the same time as the rental payment, and will be refunded by Wii Rent via Paypal after the rental has ended pending equipment inspection.
